Meet Bitzy!
Bitzy is the heart of BackSmith Chiropractic, welcoming to all! Bitzy is our friendly office dog here at BackSmith. She’s a regular around the office and enjoys greeting patients as they come in.
She has a calm, gentle personality and tends to make the waiting area feel a bit more relaxed. If you’re allergic to dogs or would prefer some space, just let us know — we’re happy to keep her behind the gate during your visit.

Hi! My name is Payton and I’m a member of BackSmith Chiropractic working as Dr. Smith’s CA as well as handling our marketing. I am a student at Georgia Highlands College and also work as a bartender at Pisanos Pizzeria and Italian Kitchen. I was raised in Paulding County, and currently live in downtown Kennesaw.
My goal is to own my own tack shop one day since horses are my passion. I’ve had my amazing horse, Eve, since I was fifteen and have been an equestrian since I was ten years old.
I am very excited to be part of Dr. Smith’s practice and look forward to seeing you all!

Hello! My name is April Aguilar. I’m originally from Chicago. I have three children, Josie, Maggie (twins), and Aaron. I am excited to be a part of the BackSmith Chiropractic team and look forward to seeing you in the therapy room! I promise to give you and your family the individualized attention you deserve!

I grew up locally in East Cobb. After graduating from George Walton Comprehensive High School, I attended Lincoln Tech in Atlanta to study Massage Therapy in 2009.
In 2016, I married my wonderful husband, David. Together, we have seven beautiful children.
I enjoy working in the medical and fitness industry. I have worked with doctors and trainers to provide the best possible care for my clients. I am well practiced in orthopedic deep tissue massage, neuromuscular massage, prenatal, and myofascial release. Whether you’re suffering from a medical issue, car accident, sports injury, or simply need some rest and relaxation, you are in experienced hands with me! I cant wait to meet you and start your journey for a healthier life!

Dr. Justin Jenkins is originally from the Metro-Detroit area in Michigan. After a lifetime of sports-related injuries, he eventually found his way into a chiropractic office in Farmington, Michigan. Little did he know that this single visit would completely redirect his life and spark a deep passion for chiropractic care. He quickly became fascinated by how much better his body healed when it was functioning the way it was designed to. Experiencing firsthand the power of chiropractic inspired him to pursue a career dedicated to helping others find that same level of freedom, resilience, and confidence in their bodies.
Dr. Jenkins went on to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University, where he focused on becoming a neurologically based chiropractic, interested in making sure the brain is able to communicate with the body as best as it can. He is committed to providing personalized, evidence-informed care for individuals and families. Whether someone is dealing with chronic pain, acute injuries, or simply wants to feel and function better, Dr. Jenkins strives to make every patient feel heard, supported, and empowered. His goal is to help people reconnect with their bodies, move with ease, and live with greater vitality. Outside the office, Dr. Jenkins enjoys sports such as soccer and baseball, working out at the gym, and connecting with his local community. He believes health is a lifelong journey—and he loves being a part of his patients’ journeys every step of the way.
